Last week, we announced our partnership with the Lancaster County Council of Churches during PremierFest: First Annual Customer Appreciation & Fundraising Event, September 28th.
We’re proud to announce that we will also be partnering with Power Packs during this exciting event!
The Power Packs Project aims to improve the mental and physical health of children in the program by helping their parents provide nutritious meals over the weekends when the school breakfast and lunch programs are not available to them. Currently, Power Packs serves over 40 schools, 12 school districts, and 1,500 parents from across Central Pennsylvania.
Planning on attending PremierFest? We ask that each attendee bring nonperishable food items to benefit these fantastic local organizations. We encourage guests to bring a variety of food items, however, we do have a special request for the following:
- 18 oz. jars of peanut butter
- 5 or 10 oz. cans of chicken
- 5 oz. cans of tuna
